Welcome to warm and authentic Sámi experiences.
Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Tromsø to Balsfjord, where you’ll be welcomed by our Sami host, Nils Ole Oskal, caretaker of several hundred reindeer.
Step into the Sami way of life as you feed the reindeer and hear captivating stories passed down through generations. The evening’s highlight is an unforgettable reindeer sledding experience, set in serene mountain landscapes under the starry Arctic sky.
Savor a delicious traditional dinner in a cozy lavvu (Sami tent) and enjoy the magic of the night with the possibility of seeing the mesmerizing northern lights. This is a one-of-a-kind Arctic adventure you’ll treasure forever.

Disclaimer
Northern Lights are not a guarantee on this tour, but when the weather is good and there’s Northern Lights activity, Nils Ole’s farm is one of the best places to spot them.
Reindeer sledding tours rely on snow conditions. If the conditions are bad, we will not be doing sledding in order for the reindeer not to hurt themselves.
